NOËL VRANCKX

I started experimenting,
and I never stopped.

My interest in artificial intelligence began long before OpenAI launched ChatGPT. When it launched, I had a clear feeling: the world had changed that day.

There was still plenty wrong with it. It misunderstood questions, made mistakes and could sound remarkably confident about things it had simply invented. Yet something significant had happened. Anyone with access to it could ask a question, explore an idea or bring a problem from their own work into a conversation with AI.

At first, I used AI for questions and answers. As I explored further, I began building tools of my own, turning ideas into applications that could perform useful tasks. From there I moved into agents, and eventually began embedding AI into applications I had developed myself. My understanding grew through trying things, finding the limits and trying again.

Throughout that journey, my interest has centred on a practical question: how can we apply these possibilities to supply chain work? Our knowledge of supply chains is what makes them useful. We know the supplier whose promised lead time needs questioning, the production constraint missing from a spreadsheet and the customer commitment that cannot simply be moved.

My enthusiasm for AI has grown alongside my respect for its limitations. A fluent explanation can hide a weak assumption. A precise number can be based on the wrong data. My aim is to help you develop confidence through experience, starting with something useful today and building towards what you may want to create tomorrow.
